Mary Fell (80) passed away peacefully in Eastbourne, England on 22 August 2022.
She was a well-known teacher of English and Business English, privately and for institutions in Passau: Volkshochschule, BAP, Universität Passau, and IHK Niederbayern. In 2012 she received the IHK golden pin for 30 years of outstanding voluntary service and was on the IHK Germany committee which set English examinations for the whole of the country. Mary also taught English for the staff of firms in and around Passau, principally ZFP, for many years. She was in addition an author and translator.
Mary was a co-originator in 2009 of Book Aid Passau, a charity organisation which has distributed considerable sums of money to local charities.
She will be mourned by family, friends, colleagues and many former students.
